Left Bolsena after a great 2 days and headed to Mounting Fiasco or Montefiascone as it is better known.
The walk was lovely following the lake on a high route. Sadly no sun but thankfully no rain.
We arrived at Hotel Italia which was always going to be a letdown after the Ves Conte. And omg it was a s*** hole which was up for sale.
The town was grey and unfriendly with no bars or cafes open.
But we gritted our teeth and ploughed on making the best of it. Ended up having a good meal of roast chicken.
