Day 39! We were up at the crack of dawn today to go on our road trip to the Grand Canyon!! Our trip was to the west rim of the canyon, on a Native American reservation. The views were just incredible, I cannot do it justice with any photos or descriptions! Just wow. The one thing I hadn't thought of was there are no safety railings or anything, you can just go up as near to the edge as you like. That did not help my chronic fear of heights! I stayed at least 6 feet back and panicked for all the people close to the edge haha. We got a BBQ at Guano Point at the canyon - lunch with spectacular views! When we got back to Vegas in the afternoon we chilled for a while then decided to go for a buffet dinner at The Bellagio - I LOVE that I can say I've had dinner there! It was expensive though, so I ate far too much in an attempt to get my money's worth and regretted it soon after.. We went to see the fountain/light show at The Bellagio which was pretty cool, especially as it was set to the song Viva Las Vegas! Then we went to see the volcano show at The Mirage which was just awesome. It was a really cool fire show set to jungle music. After that we headed back to our hotel and played some blackjack. I doubled my money and left with a $10 profit, so so far the casinos have only gotten $8 from me which I think isn't too bad! L x
