Our jeep consisted of me and Mel, three Italian gentleman (I use the term loosely), an Irish lady and her mother and boyfriend. Wednesday morning we woke up and got hair cuts. Mine is now really short as turns out too much sun and sea takes it's toll on hair and mine was a mess! We then had the day free so lazed around the lagoon before catching the bus in the evening. The overnight bus got us into rainbow beach in the morning around 9am after quite a bit of sleep which was nice! Tuesday was our Whit Sunday Ocean rafting day tour. We were picked up from the hostel and taken down to the jetty to check in and pick up out Lycra sting suits. Monday We woke up and took out bags downstairs, popped to the shop and then waited at the bus stop for our greyhound bus to Airlie Beach, the next stop on our tour of the coast. Woke up in the morning and snuck downstairs so as to not wake the others and met our bus to take us down to Mission Beach. The journey was interesting as the bus driver got lost about ten times. What should have been a journey of one hour and fifty minutes turned into 3 hours! Once there the bad luck just kept on coming with our skydive most likely cancelled due to bad weather.
