Unfortunately due to weather conditions surf was a no go today so it became a pyjama day with a few outings to the roof terrace when the sun broke out. We decided to try washing some of our clothes before we leave tomorrow, however trying to find places to hang wet clothes where they would dry relatively quickly was challenging! Drying my socks with a hairdryer was a first! Mel unfortunately chose the window which when it decided to pour down during our evening...

Woke up and decided to have a morning off from yoga to let my body have a rest and recover - feeling a tad achy! Breakfast as usual and then down to the beach for a morning of surfing! Actually managing to get up and stay up on the board now woo...there's a surfer chick in me somewhere! Back the villa a little earlier than usual so I could sit by the pool for an hour or two and catch up with what's going on at home, then it was upstairs to shower and get ready ...

PANCAKE DAY!!! Woke up, yoga and then pleasantly surprised to have pancakes and fruit for breakfast. Went to the souk up the road from us - it was amazing the transformation! Until today the area had looked completely desolate with a few broken boxes but at 6am this morning the place was transformed into a hundreds of stalls selling everything from fruit and veg to vehicles! As per my previous blogs it was up and early for yoga this morning followed by breakfast and then down to the beach for surfing. Red the instructor has now taken to referring to me simply as 'Guernsey' now much to everyone's amusement. First to wake up this morning so I could skype Tom, so nice and quiet in the morning (although a part of me is missing mums manic hoovering sessions at 6.30 every morning)! Morning yoga session was painful due to a majorly burnt stomach - luckily it seems to have calmed down on my arms, legs and back. Had to pass up on the optional 30 minutes extra as I could no longer move without searing pain shooting across my mid region! Breakfast was the same as yesterday...
