Our jeep consisted of me and Mel, three Italian gentleman (I use the term loosely), an Irish lady and her mother and boyfriend. The ferry took less than 10 minutes and we were on Fraser - home got the next 2 nights/3 days.
Should be interesting as there was no absolutely no signal or wifi on the island! First stop was a park area for lunch and then on to lake Mckenzie! It was the most beautiful place and the sand is used as a natural exfoliant and genuinely it was as we all tested this!
Then we went to camp to get our bearings and set up! As a non camper this was scary and my fears were justified! Mouse in our tent the first night! However this was only one reason for no sleep that night. The camp was full of drunken 18 year olds and our Italian compadres whose sole mission for the nights there were to meet ladies!
