Tuesday was our Whit Sunday Ocean rafting day tour. We were picked up from the hostel and taken down to the jetty to check in and pick up out Lycra sting suits. Here we met Audrey from California who was to become our friend for the day.
The first stop was white haven beach. To get there tho and as last on the boat we had special seats. By special I mean there were none and we had to stand at the side and hold on for dear life. This as quite fun tho and due to the swell meant we had an arm work out and got soaked at the same time.
White haven was beautiful tho - I have never seen such white sand! We had a quick lunch on the beach and then proceeded to 2 separate snorkel sights whilst taking in all the islands by sea!
The tour was amazing and id highly recommend it to others - no need to spend 2 nights on boat when you can see it all in a day and avoid sea sickness!
Back at the hostel we decided on beaches again for dinner. Here we met some random australia dairy farmers who decided to show us the sights as well as give us tips on how to milk cows.
We ended up in beaches watching a life Irish band and the heading to shenanigans - an Irish bar for after drinks! Here we took on some girl and her cousin who apparently were on the Australia so you think you can dance. She challenged me and she lost - that's right love you haven't met anyone from guernsey before!
After this and a few too many drinks we headed to maccie d's for burgers and cleverly thought it was best to sit on the floor outside our room eating these before going to bed!
