Saturday morning we learnt that the same 18 year olds had left the dingo gate open meaning they were now in camp. Luckily they didn't pose too much of a threat we just had to be careful with food and not go anywhere alone!
This day we visited the champagne pools (basically rock pools that can be used instead of swimming in the sea which at this time of year is full of jelly fish and mating tiger sharks), then to Indian head - a large hill with some pretty impressive hills which we climbed and then headed back to camp for lunch.
Next stop was the ship wreck on the island which was really eery but fascinating and then to Eli Creek a natural lazy river.
Back at camp and too make up for their poor behaviour the Italians offered to cook us dinner. The rest of camp hovering the few has stoves we had they had the genius idea to use the campfire and have a BBQ. This left most of camp rather jealous later on as it was lovely - steak, salad and home made garlic butter sauce! Oh and toasted marshmallows for desert as I had brought some along.
After dinner we were forced to educate the young ones who were putting damp word on the fire and wandering why it wasn't catching light. After a sarcastic comment about finding the wood ourselves we then did and what a fire it turned out to be! Most of the camp later came round it to warm up!
The dramas of the previous night ever in our mind we set up camp for the night in the jeep, pushing the seats down to make a big bed - definitely a better nights sleep!
Sunday morning we woke oblivious to the fact there had been fights in the camp and our tents had been a casualty in this - definitely pleased we stayed in the jeep!!
