For the second time in 5 days, we woke up at QBox campsite with sore heads! We didn't feel up to driving to Wanaka just yet so we parked up in town for a few hours. Dave went to use the internet and get us some food, while I went back to sleep!

Then we set off to our next stop, Wanaka. It wasn't a long drive, only about an hour, but we took the shorter 'mountain' route, full of windy roads, and we saw snow again at the top! It was strange to see all of the ski areas and resorts which looked quite bare without much snow!

We soon arrived in Wanaka, which was very picturesque and reminded us of Te Anau. Still not feeling great, we headed straight to the campsite where we did some washing and watched TV for the rest of the day. The kitchen was quite busy that night, with a family of 5, and a few other couples, some who appear to be working here / nearby. We went to bed exhausted - we're getting too old for hangovers!
