We drove only 78 miles to get to the Escapees campground in Livingston TX where we will stay until Sunday. Just before we got there, we filled up with fuel and propane. We also bought an anode for the hot water heater fix. Maybe getting closer to hot water. We are both members of Escapees. Livingston TX is their headquarters and they have several other locations where you can camp for discount prices. Bad WiFi and no tv but nice campsites. This campground also has their CARE (Continuing Assistance for Retired Escapees). Its mission is to provide a safe haven with professional assistance at affordable prices for members whose travels are impacted because of age or temporarily interrupted because of health problems.
Still learning how to use my new leveling system when the campsite is sloped too much. Called them and they patiently walked me through recalibrating it.
We are beginning to talk about longer term plans for when we need to turn north and west to meet up with our friends Mike and Rosie in Washington state in about a month. We all used FaceTime tonight so we could talk and laugh about the plans for the next few months after that too.
