06/22/21 We took our time leaving this wonderful little park. We filled with almost 36 gallons of fuel in town. We got horrible gas mileage over the last couple of days because of the winds. 06/21/21 We woke up early to call about potential open sites at an Iowa state park since it is a first come first serve park on the same day. They had sites so we took off early to get there by noon. We had a great day to travel – less wind, much cooler, puffy clouds in blue skies, and green fields. We drove even more miles (212) to Lake Anita State Park in Anita IA.
