We again left early and drove another 276 miles today to stay at the Fort Stockton RV Park in Fort Stockton TX. We fought the wind the entire time which showed in our fuel mpg. When we arrived at the campground, we got sites right next to each other. However the wind was bowling sand everywhere and it was 96 degrees. Yep the southwest is heating up. We tried going to the pool but the water was really cold. Only Wayne was brave enough. We all took showers and called it an early night because we knew we had a long day of driving tomorrow.
Another tire monitoring system issue but this time the command center monitor isn’t charging and just arbitrarily shuts down. It appears that one of the cables no longer works. The fun continues.
