06/23/21 We searched to fill with fuel until we could find a Culver’s restaurant at the same time. I've been waiting the whole trip to get a hamburger, fries, and shake. This is a Midwest chain of restaurants that specializes in high cholesterol meals – real butter and real cream custard shakes. (Don't judge me until you've tried it.) We drove 172 miles today to Hollywood Casino Joliet IL. Unlike casinos we've stayed at for free, this one has an actual RV park and it wasn't cheap but we got a pull through site with electric and water. It's warm again but with a good breeze. We spent the afternoon booking upcoming campsites. Once again, campsites are harder to get on the weekends but persistence pays off when you call them and ask nicely. We walked through the casino. Not many people but it had card tables and slots. Once again we had few tv stations to choose from so we went to be early.
