06/08/21 We drove route 26, route 7, and finally I85 for 129 miles to reach Farewell Bend State Park in Ontario OR, which is on the Snake River (the border between Oregon and Idaho). 06/07/21 We drove 117 miles to Grant County Fairgrounds in John Day OR. My only other experience with fairgrounds was in Colorado. We were surrounded by cement. But this fairgrounds is wonderful. Trees, level campsites, a brook, places to walk the dog and again really nice people. We couldn't find a gas station as we came through the mountains so we had to wait until just before we got into town. We filled up with 35 gallons which is way closer to empty than I fe...

06/06/21 We left the farm today. I was nervous to hook up the car in the street but needed a flat surface. Mike and Rosie went up the hill and turned on their flashers as I did, working as fast as I could. 06/05/21 (Two months on the road) Off and on rainy day at the farm. Mike figured out why my solar panels were working sporadically, bad connector on the solar extension cords but I can still get the panels to work without them, just at a more limited distance from the RV.
