06/15/21 The day started as a normal day with no hint of what was to come. We drove 176 miles to Harvest Host Shady Brewery in Salt Lake City. We got gas and stopped at a rest stop to make the trip less stressful for Shannon. The parking lot was dirt, small and uneven. We turned on the generator for some air conditioning but it stopped multiple times after only minutes. The temperature was 105. We finally decided we need to find a campground for the night. We made our apologies to the brewery and bought a sampler pack around 6:00. When we pulled out of the driveway, the RV bottomed out on the grade. 3.5 hours later, a kind gentleman, road side assistance, the police, unhooking the car, removing the hitch, unscrewing the hitch assembly from the RV, using the levelers to raise the RV, multiple boards, we finally moved the RV then had to put everything back together and backtracked 23 miles to Cherry Hill RV Resort Kaysville UT in the dark. The best campground and amusement park combo for kids I've ever seen. Shannon was unable to handle any of this and would have won top dog in the behaving badly contest. We finally went to bed after 1.5 hours of leveling and refrigerator issues but with air conditioning since it was still 97 degrees. Truly the second worst day of this trip.

Norm Hoping the “second worst day” is the last worst day. Stay safe.
