On the road again. (I know several of you will not be able to get that song out of your heads.) We just showed up at the Ford service center hoping our presence would encourage them. But we didn’t leave there until 11:30 so we ended up driving until 5:30. We are in a small family run campground in Elizabethtown KY. The RV drove much better. Towing the car is getting less anxious until I have to stop for gas and then start worrying about making sharp turns and not needing to back up. As we drove south, all the trees and flowers were blooming with greens, pinks, and yellows. Lots of construction and I’m amazed by the number of trucks on the road, at least 50% of the traffic. We had to just pass by Churchill Downs (still on my list). We are again changing plans to go to get the SafeTplus installed in Tallapoosa GA on Thursday afternoon with one more overnight stay.

Norm Lived in a trailer park in Radcliff, close to Elizabethtown for a year while stationed at Fort Knox. Not friendly and dry (no alcohol) communities toward the military back then. I’m sure its more pleasant now. And looks like lots of traffic on what was known as the “Dixie Highway”. Take Care and Stay Safe.
Christine We went on a family vacation to Kentucky when I was little. I hope you get to explore there. Churchill Downs is cool (as I recall—it was 40 years ago!). Safe travels to Georgia!
M&R Just looking at your map. You sure do drive on straight roads!!
