Siargao island on first impression again reminded me of India a bit. A lot of shacks everywhere and it looked like there was poverty here. The number of motorbike drivers waiting for us when we got off the ferry was mad! We didn't even had to haggle with the price.! They fought over us. So after we chose our driver.. We managed to fit jords big bag to the handle bars on the back of the bike, me and Jord balancing on the back half, the driver at the front and my big bag balancing between his arms as he drove.. Efficient!
The hotel we've booked is right on the beach, with a chilling area on the 2nd floor looking out over the sea where I've spent most afternoons relaxing.
One of the main things to do here besides the surfing is island hopping around the small islands off shore. The first island we visited was naked island. It quite literally was naked. No trees, no people. Just a big pile if sand and clear water as far as you can see. Almost looked man made. The other two islands were really cool. It was nice because it wasn't too touristy. Hardly anyone on the small islands. Just your standard boat of Chinese with fluorescent orange lifejackets flapping about with their selfie sticks.
