Finally reached our final destination, Goa. Finally managed to lay on the beach and even out my t-shirt/vest tan lines. Goa is by far a more chilled location than any other place in India we visited. Me Jord and a a few others decided to stay and travel north up the coast and stayed in a hostel together right next to the beach. We rented out a couple of scooters for £2.50 a day and traveled up the coast a little further with a chilled Aussie, was good fun and no accidents, bonus. Although the police did stop us and tried to convince us we weren't legally allowed to drive them but really just wanted a bribe, so we didn't pay and drove off. The hostel it self was super chilled and friendly. And when there was a thunderstorm and the road flooded one of the staff members rocked up on his scooter in a rain jacket with 5 crates of beer! And a load of chicken for a BBQ. Hero!
On our last day with our little group we went out for the night and wanted to have a few drinks, however it turned out to be a national dry day as it's the father of the nations birthday... They really don't know how to celebrate birthdays.! Sad to see them go but meeting up again at Christmas and new year in Thailand.
Now me and Jord are truly going solo and to start off our 14 hour bus journey the bus breaks down after 5 minutes.. And we reach Mumbai it turns out we can't enter the airport till 3 hours before our flight. So we sat in a Starbucks for another 14 hours..
