For Michelle this day was the perfect day to explore the neighborhood. The day looked promising after the heavy rain from yesterday. She already saw on the map that there was a nearby park. So after some cleaning in the house she went for a stroll. The park was quite nice and was filled with all sorts of different plants. Like expected there were even some trees with name-tags (in Japanese of course) so people can see what species it was. The park was filled with all kinds of people. It clearly was a park were people let out there dogs, there were more dogs in the park than she ever saw in Japan in total! There were also small groups of high school students who did al sorts of activities, like running or random exercises which looked kind of strange for Western people. There was even an exercise while laying flat on the ground (face down) and lifting your legs and head. Everything was quite enjoyable to watch, so did the few high-school girls who watched the guys as well. After taking a round it was already getting dark and she went home to go shopping for dinner. While preparing dinner (potatoes, salad and tartar) Dennis came home early, at least she thought he was home early... apparently her watch was broken and was a few hours earlier in the planning of today. So that was why it was getting dark so early...
Dennis had another introductory day at Canon. At least his pc is now slowly starting to act like normal. Remembering all the names of all the people is still quite hard, but we will get there eventually. Meetings are half in Japanese, half in English. Good way to learn more Japanese.

René Sounds like you two are getting the hang of this Japanese life style. :-)
