So I had a pretty bad sleep last nite and am sure u can guess it was cause of the silly couple in my room, however am guessin it isnt the reason ur thinking! The guy snored like a pig but seemed to wake himself up each time so cant imagine he got much sleep either, and the girl had this stupid anklet thing on with bells on it!! It was like having a freaking cat in the room, i was so tempted to just rip it off her foot!! I mean even when she was in bed every time she moved it make noise!!!! Oh and when the guy woke up in the morning he made stupid loud yawns and sniffing, i mean seriously there is no need!!!

Anyway rant over! Got the bus this morning up to Picton. On the way up we stopped at another seal colony, it was apparently one of the first in New Zealand, no idea how the driver knew that tho! So got a few more pictures of these beastly seals and then we were on the road again. Stopped off at a really lovely wee cafe on the way which had an open fire in it (u def need this in NZ as its totally freezing, nothing like Oz!) and a beautiful view over the sea. The colour of the sea here is incredible, its such a light clear blue it just takes ur breath away!

So we arrived in Picton but as there is pretty much nothing to do there i just got the ferry straight over to Wellington with Kenneth. We did hav to say bye to Becky tho cause she is doing the south island 1st and then the north which is a shame as we r pretty much on the same time frame and would hav been nice to hav a travelling companion. Anyway the crossing over was pretty smooth with a few rough bits, but thank goodness i didnt get sea sick again! It was nice to hav Kenneth to chat to made the 3 hour journey bearable!

Landed in Wellington and it was raining, really hate this weather in NZ it sucks and is far to much like Scotland!! Staying in the Base in the centre. We got a free "meal" which was a joke as it consisted of a plate with a few crisps on them and a dollop of some salsa/chillie stuff on them. Not much time here so just had a wee wonder around with Kenneth and an American girl we met outside the ferry terminal.
