So left Wellington for Napier today. Met a nice American girl on the bus called Melissa. Wasnt to long a journey today. Did stop off at the Moutn Bruce Wildlife Centre for some breakfast and we saw a Tuatara, a very rare bird. We were staying in The Citerion Art Deco hostel which was really nice, had a lot of character about the place and a wee cat as well!

So after we arrived and checked into our art deco hostel, me and Kenneth went for a bike ride along the shore front and then in the back streets of Napier. Not the comfest bikes ever but they did the job. Was really nice to be on a bike again but i could feel the strain in me thighs after a while. Everyone was really friendly and saying hi as we passed! It a funny wee place, after the town was destroyed by an earthquake they rebuilt it with everyone getting a say as to how their house was to look. Gave the place a really quirky feel which was nice, wasnt like walkin down a regular street where all the houses look exactly the same.
