Left Dunedin for Lake Tekapo this morning. 1st thing we did was climb the worlds steepest street which is pretty hard climbing! We then went to the beach where the Moeraki Boulders are. They are pretty cool as they r all pretty round and look like they've been shaped that way even tho it is natural! Also stopped off to take some awesome photos of Mount Cook. It funny how photos look so rubbish compared to the real thing!

When we got to Lake Tekapo I went for a wee horse trek around the lake. The views were amazing. My horse was called Score (not entirely sure y?!) and was a really pretty chestnut colour and had a white star on his head. The horses were all a bit slow and grumpy because of the heat but we managed to get round without too many incidences! The lead womans horse did snap at mine when we stopped tho which was a bit scary! There was also a stupid foreign couple behind me that kept going out of line and annoying the horses. Met a couple of English girls who r on holiday from teaching in Singapore who r really nice.

Got back to the hostel for a quick shower before I went to a BBQ at the other hostel. We had lots of meat and salads, was nice to have proper food again! I did end up having to walk back to the other hostel myself in the dark which was a bit scary but it was ok i got there safely!
