5th November

So its all over! We're back in Monkey Mia!!

While in Exmouth we went to Cape Range National Park. We went to Turqouise Bay to snorkel. It was amazing the best snorkelling I have ever done! The water was really clear and you didn't have to go to far out. I saw some really cool fish. I saw a fish that looked like a lizard, a sea cuecumber, a ray and Jack even saw a turtle! I was gutted I didn't see the turtle! I found the snorkelling really easy and wasn't scared to be in the sea. We snorkelled for ages! In the evening we went to the Lighthouse to watch the sunset. We got to the top and forgot our chairs so went back to the caravan park to get them and as we were driving down we saw some whales! so we stopped to watch them you could see them blowing water from thier air holes! It was amazing there were loads of them! The sunset was really nice. We went to a part of the beach where turtles come in to nest but we didn't see any. I really like Exmouth and Coral Bay.

Then it was the long drive back to Monkey Mia!! We saw so many dead animals on the road it was digusting. I think we saw about 20 animals in the space of 300 meters!! There was lots of kangaroos and cows!! Some of the cows were really bloated and looked like they had been blown up like a balloon!

I really enjoyed my roadtrip with Jack, I'm glad we decided to do it together, it was good to be together outside of Monkey Mia and be in the 'real world'! We got on really well and had a really good time. I'm just not looking forward to going home and leaving him behind!! But he is going to come to England next year!!

We got back to Monkey Mia on Monday, it was really strange to be back! I didn't feel like I should be here!! Everyone was pleased to see me back which was nice. Everyone seems to love me and Jack as a couple! Which is not surprising really!! The was a band on in the bar, but they wasn't very good! Jack didn't go back to work until Thursday so we had a couple of days to unpack and do washing. I felt really lost when he went back to work. I didn't no what to do with myself. Jack had bowls on Thursday night so I went to watch. Darren was in Monkey Mia on Thursday too so I popped to the bar to say hi to him.

While i'm back I'm going to be volunteering with the Dolphins! I had my induction today. there's a lot to do! I start at 7.30 tomorrow. I'm so excited, I love the dolphins. One of them Surprise is pregnant and due tomorrow so i'm hoping she has her baby while i'm here!!
