I'm home!! Well I've been home for 2 weeks now!! It feels really strange, in a way I dont feel like i've been away, everything is the same and no one has really changed!
So Christmas in Australia was strange! It was really really warm I was wearing a skirt and a vest top! It took me ages to get excited about Christmas as no where was really christmassy! I didn't even see the coca cola advert until Christmas eve! We had a BBQ on Christmas eve was really strange. On Christmas day, Gayle's family came round and we had a cold buffet and sat outside! It was far to hot to eat a proper roast dinner though. Now i'm really looking forward to Christmas here this year as I feel I have missed out on a proper Christmas for 2 years.
Me, Mum and Terry went for a walk on Boxing day and we came back sweating! It was horrible. We went to the pub with Peter, Gayle, Chris, Danni and Nathan. We went about 4 and at around 7.30 Terry and Peter got us kicked out of the pub!! The bouncer said it was because Terry was being loud, he did call after mum as she went the wrong way to the toilet but he wasn't loud enough to be kicked out! We think the bouncer was just bored as he told another group of guys to leave and they hadn't even done anything! It was pretty funny though. We went back to the house and Gayle showed us a trick with a broom where you step through it, it was really hard and so much fun!!
Then came the day to leave! I really didn't want to go home. I actually wasn't feeling well either I had a really bad headache, think my body didn't want me to come home!! Everyone came to the airport to see us off. On the plane me and mum were sat next to each other and Terry was on the row next to us. The women sat next to him kept wanting to get up to go to the toilet! Think it annoyed him a bit! ha ha The flight seemed to go on forever, I slept a lot though. The food was ok not the best, I hadn't eaten anything all day and it was about 6pm when we got fed! We had ice cream which was nice! I had mum's ice cream as well.
We got to Hong Kong about 11pm and just checked in and went straight to bed! I was really tired. The next morning we checked out and went for a wonder around Hong Kong, It was amazing! So big! When we came in at night it was so bright with all the lights in the buildings lit up! We did some shopping, mum and I found the most amazing shopping centre ever! It was massive and had any shop you could imagine in it but you'd have to have money to shop there! We found a really good market as well and things were so cheap! I'd def go back there for the shopping! They have some amazing bakers, me and mum got some bread that had a bit of chesse in the middle, um it was so good! We went to one food market and there was meat hanging up everywhere, it was disgusting it nearly made me sick the smell was rank!! Even Terry felt squirmish!!
Then it was the long flight back to England!! We were all sat next to each other on this flight, the food was horrible though! I didn't eat the breakfast! Again I slept most of the flight. We finally got home! My Dad and June picked me up from the airport, I was freezing! I was planning on having a sleep when I got back as it was 5 in the morning that we landed but I wasn't really tired. I ended up going shopping to Romford to meet my aunty Lesley and Nan, it was strange as it didn't feel like I hadn't seen them for 2 years. My nan looked a bit older but she is nearly 90! he he In the evening I went out for dinner with Heidi and to the pub with Stuart, Nicki, Kirsty and Dave. It was the first time I met Nicki, she is really nice. I ended up staying awake until 10.30 I was really proud of myself!
I spent New Year at mums with the family which was really nice. Last weekend I was thrown a surprise party, I did no about it though but it was really nice to see everyone and it showed who my real friends are!
Its ok being home but i'm far too cold and really missing Jack. It wont be long until I see him again though.
I have had an amazing 2 years travelling and it was definatly the best thing I have ever done and so glad I went and really didn't think that I would last 2 years!
Now the job hunt begins!!
Thank you to everyone who has supported me and looked after me while I was away and everyone who has kept up to date with my travels through my blog. Hope you enjoyed reading my blog as much as I did doing everything I told you about! Until next time! Thank you x

Aunty Well Kirsty it's lovely to have you home and I have definitely enjoyed reading your blog more than your facebook updates .... perhaps you can get a job as a travel journalist as I certainly think you write well (although I may be biased!!). You do still need to work on those "too" and "know"s though ha ha. I'm glad you only said your Nan had aged and not your Aunty too (very discreet as you knew I'd read this). Good luck with the job hunt and we're looking forward to meeting Jack soon. xxx
