This past week in Germany has been filled with many different events. On Wednesday I unfortunately had to wake up an hour earlier than I usually do, in order to catch a train to Tuebingen. I would have to say though that waking up an hour earlier was definitely worth not having class for the day. In Tuebingen all of us Americans had to meet with some people to take care of paperwork for our stipend and citizenship. For how organized I thought the Germans are, they sure are pretty slow on realizing how much easier it is to put all your offices for everything in one building! We probably went to a good four different buildings just to take care of money, class issues, and insurance.

However, once we finished with everything we got to eat in the student cafeteria. Surprisingly it was actually pretty good and cheap. I'll have to keep the cafeteria in mind when I don't feel like cooking while I'm living in Tuebingen. Which by the way I'm moving there in only 11 days! I already got my room key and got to go in. I can start moving my stuff there whenever I want. My room is small, but is cheap for the location and has everything I need. Once I get all moved in I'll post a picture of it.

Thursday and Friday during the day consisted of me doing a lot of flight booking. I booked flights in April to travel to Sweden (Stockholm) and Copenhagen (Denmark) with Cassie. Also, I booked flights for KERI TO COME SEE ME! My best friend is coming HERE, to Europe. Scary right? I can't wait to write the post about me and Keri taking over Germany and Ireland. Yes, we're going to Ireland! Ahh, Irish men…

Friday night was Karla's last night here in Horb. So of course we all met at Bella Arti for yet another night of drinks.

Saturday morning we headed to Ulm for another Herman Hesse Excursion. Ulm is the birthplace of Einstein, is home to the highest tower in Germany, and has the Donau River running through it. The city was, as always gorgeous and the weather was pretty nice. As usual we had a short little tour of the city, and then we had like three hours to walk around. This is where the cheap Wine theme starts. After getting some lunch from the fresh market we picked up a few bottles of wine. At 2 Euro a piece…. How much classier could we be?

So after one bottle of wine down our guide tells us that we're climbing the tower. 768 steps, spiral staircase all the way to the top and two words: Never again. Yeah, the view from the top was amazing but climbing all that way. Sucked.

After we all finally made it down, we proceeded to the Museum of Bread Culture. Yes, they have a museum of bread here. I'll just let you imagine how exciting it was…

On our train ride back to Stuttgart we decided it was time to open our second bottle of wine. Except, oh wait… this one has a cork. So, one of the Brazilians spent half of the train ride there using a piece of Cassie's purse and a spoon to push the cork into the bottle.

Nevertheless, we got it open and it was gone by the time we got to Stuttgart.

Once we were in Stuttgart 5 of us decided to split up from the Herman-Hesse group and meet up with some of the other American's that had been hanging out in the city all day.

Let's just say… Our night consisted of more cheap wine, cartwheels, hanging out in an empty fountain, two clubs, and a really not so fun train ride home at 6:18am.

I walked in the door at 8am, and was greeted by my host brother with a shocked look on his face.

Sunday= me sleeping the entire day.

Tomorrow I get to find out if Germany serves green beer on St. Patrick's day! Don't forget to wear green!
