Monday 17th August Keswick am
We had a lovely breakfast and Tracey looked after us very well. We haven't had much more than cereals on any day but decided to have poached eggs and a bit of bacon. That is until we saw the fruit! Laid out on the sideboard were about 12 bowls of different fruits, strawberries, blackberries, raspberries, mango, peaches, pineapple, prunes, currants, apricots, you name it, it was here. So we had fruit and yoghurt then poached eggs. Soo full.
Tracey gave us a bus circuit that we could do but when we got downtown we found that this particular bus only went every hour which meant that if we got off then we would have to time it right to catch the next bus 1 hour later.
We stopped for a cup of coffee and watched a window cleaner with a telescopic pole a washing brush doing the third floor windows from the ground. We decided to get the 555 bus to Ambleside.

Jill Julius Hi Jan & Kev We are not far away from you. Stayed in Jedburgh last night and travelled down to York via Durham today. We are relieved to have cooler weather. During the 2 months we were on the Continent the temperature was rarely less than 35 degrees!! Off out for dinner and to explore. Love Jill
