Monday 31st August - Last Day in Venice We actually leave port today but not until 5.30pm so we had time to spend in Venice before we left. We got off the ship and headed for the Vaperetto Jetty and paid for return tickets, €15 each, to St Mark's Square which is the tourist trap of the whole of Venice. Sunday 30th August - Dinner We all went up to the bar area about 5.30pm for a pre dinner drink. The bar area was very palatial with big Poppa Bear Chairs so here we are again having a drink and a chat, being waited on by a young lady from Czechoslovakia. Nice and relaxing. Sunday 30th August - Ship Constellation Lunch time and we were thirsty so we have a smorgasbord of grilled fish and salad and a beer each. As we weren't able to go to our cabin until 2pm we just sat and yakked and ate our lunch and drank our beers. We had a bit to learn about the drink package that we had been given when we booked the cruise way back last year. Seems that we can have beers up to $6 and wines and spirits up to $9. Sunday 30th August - Registration Back over the bridge, across the crossing, up and over a causeway and finally down the other side towards the 4 Cruise Ships that were in port. At the bottom there was a young lady from Celebrity Cruises ushering us onto a bus that got us to the terminal 177 where our ship was tied up. Through all the paperwork and finally we went on board without our cases as they would end up in the appropriate cabin at some later stage...
