Thursday 1st October - The Streets of Gambetta

There always seems to be a Gambetta area in each French town so this was no different. The streets are narrow and often have no traffic although Toulouse has rise up and drop down bollards at the entrance of a lot of the streets in this area.

Trucks delivering goods to the shops blocked most of the narrow lanes. The pavements are one person thoroughfares so we choose to walk on the roadway side by side rather than one behind the other.

We had a few pressies to buy and spent a lot of time looking, looking and may have been a help by the end of the day??
