Friday 25th September - Morning Coffee and La Poste We got up a bit late today and had the normal breakfast and Jane rang to say they were home. We went out and around the corner to the cafe that gave us great coffee yesterday and guess what the coffee wasn't so great today. Thursday 24th September - Aude Gate We had had quite enough of all the walking on uneven cobbles and had tired legs and feet so we headed downhill towards the Aude Gate which is on the opposite side of the Cite to the Narbonne Gate which we entered the Cite by. Thursday 24th September - Basilica de St Nazaire Out onto the street and wandering around these narrow alleys and we spied a Best Western hotel and probably the best of those that we have seen. Thursday 24th September - Maison du Cassoulet We came back and got a table in the corner in the outside enclosed yard under the huge tree set in the centre. There were about 20 tables and they were all full. What attracted us to this place was the set menu for €13.50 which included an entrée, a main course and a dessert.
