Wednesday 23rd September - Lunch and Onwards to Carcassone We had lunch and went and got the car and soon continued on towards Carcassone. The streets in Carcassone were even narrower than we had previously experienced but we found the street where our apartment was. We rang Lydie Pierrot who owns the apartment and had to wait for 15 minutes for her to arrive with her 6 year old daughter Margot who is just starting to learn English. She was delightful. ...

Wednesday 23rd September - Little Train We saw the train and hightailed it up to the Cathedral Saint Nazaire. The train had a stop there and we piled on board and paid the man the €12 and away we went. Thank goodness for that as it was at the top of the hill overlooking the Midi Canal and was as windy as and cold with it. Wednesday 23rd September - Centre Town Parking We came into the town ok and turned off the main street and found a park. Only trouble was you had to have a special parking card to park here. Away we went , not owning a card, and around the corner there were road works so we took the detour!! Wednesday 23rd September - Montpellier to Beziers As usual we packed and had our breakfast and then took all of our bags done to level -2 where our car was parked.
