Saturday 26th September- Coffee and Market in the Square We were out rather early this morning and were having coffee in La Place Carnot but not at our usual cafe as it was closed? There was a wind and it was a bit cool. So we backtracked and got a jersey. But the man next door was only too happy to serve us. Saturday 26th September - Fricassee of Poulet Nothing like the fricassee that we get at home but the presentation of Jan's meal was superb as she had the main part of the meal on her plate and a saucepan on the side that she could ladle as much or as little as you wanted. Luckily we had a table that could be set for 4 as we needed the extra space for all the extra things that made up our meal.

Saturday 26th September - Comfit au Canard The choices were amazing and we had a 3 course for €18 and the choices were wonderful. I chose the Comfit au Canard for my main course which was amazing when it arrived and the duck actually fell to bits.

Saturday 26th September - Dinner at Le Cathare We had a booking and wandered along about 7.20pm and there was no one else at tables when we arrived. We had a nice table and Jan had a view of the huge open fire that we found out the chef used for cooking the steaks. There was a fire flaming away about 600mm above the floor of the oven and the coals dropped down onto the flat hearth underneath.
