We continued our visit to Pearl Harbor today. We started with the USS Arizona Memorial before continuing on to the Pacific Aviation Museum. We finished with a tour through the submarine USS Bowfin.

We caught a Number 42 bus to Pearl Harbor and spent a few hours looking over the USS Missouri. That was a great experience.We then caught the same bus back home and had a quick shower before finding our way a few blocks to the pick up point for Germaine's Luau. We were driven about 30 Miles west before we disembarked at the Luau site at Kapolei. After checking out, we had a last breakfast in Poipu Beach, returned the car and caught a shuttle to the airport. The flight to Honolulu was very quick... only 20 minutes. This morning, we had breakfast on Poipu Beach. While there, we noticed there was a large Green Turtle sunning on the sand and an endangered Monk Seal was resting at the water's edge next to a rock wall. A group of volunteers was placing signs to create an exclusion zone around each of these animals.Next, we headed up to Waimea Canyon again. This morning we drove to the Safari Helicopters base in Lihue. We joined our group of 6 and were driven down to the airport in a shuttle bus. Our pilot, Brian, took us on a fantastic 45 minute flight over waterfalls, canyons, and rugged coastlines.
