We had a buffet breakfast at the Shore Bird Restaurant downstairs by the beach and had a little walk on the breakwater before it was time to check out and catch a taxi to the airport.We boarded Hawaiian Airlines 443 for the 1:40 return flight to Brisbane.

A bit of final shopping and a walk through Waikiki filled the morning, with lunch on the balcony.In the afternoon, we caught a shuttle from the Sheraton bus terminal to Honolulu Harbor where we boarded the Atlantis Navatek for a sunset dinner cruise.

This morning, we walked in the opposite direction, past the Hilton and the Marina and on to the Ala Moana Centre which is a large shopping mall. We visited the Army Museum which is almost next door and were surprised to find that it was formerly a fort built in 1917. Today, we hired a black Mustang Convertible and spent the day circumnavigating Oahu. We stopped first at inside the Diamond Head crater before continuing our anti clockwise circuit. We spent about 3 hours at the Polynesian Cultural Centre and had dinner at Jamesons at Haleiwa Beach. Along the way we made numerous stops at scenic coastal viewpoints.

This morning, we walked through Waikiki as far as the Honolulu Zoo, doing a bit of shopping along the way and stopping at the Apple Store to check out the Apple Watches (pre-release).In the afternoon we boarded the 37 foot beach catamaran Island Magic and went for a very pleasant hour and a half sail across the bay and past Diamond Head.After returning to shore, we popped upstairs to freshen up before heading back down for dinner at the Shorebird Restaurant.
