This morning, we had breakfast on Poipu Beach. While there, we noticed there was a large Green Turtle sunning on the sand and an endangered Monk Seal was resting at the water's edge next to a rock wall. This morning we drove to the Safari Helicopters base in Lihue. We joined our group of 6 and were driven down to the airport in a shuttle bus. Our pilot, Brian, took us on a fantastic 45 minute flight over waterfalls, canyons, and rugged coastlines. Today we returned the car, flew Hawaiian from Maui to Kauai and picked up another hire car ...this time a Chevrolet Sonic... something between a Barina and a Cruze.
