Florence

It would be very easy to get lost on the streets of Florence. Wee side streets leading off everywhere. Gold shops and leather shops all over the place. Some genuine, some supposedly genuine. Resisted the urge to buy anything here though most of the people on our tour bought some leather items. Went and saw the famous bridge (Ponte Vecchio) with shops lining the top of it. Had a look at amazing cathedrals and of course the statue of David. Past a street artist on the sidewalk doing a chalk drawing. An amazing likeness to the picture he is copying. It is such a busy place. Tourists everywhere.
