Vienna

Had a morning sightseeing tour of Vienna.Once more lovely Gothic cathedrals and churches. Went to Schoburg palace and saw where the Halburgs spent there time. I can never get over the amount of money that was spent on the rooms. Gold decorations on the ceilings and walls of rooms. Lovely gardens at the palace. The one we saw was the summer palace. They also had a winter palace which was supposedly even bigger. A highlight for me was seeing the famous Spanish riding school horses. They crossed in front of us on there way to a training session. They live right in the middle of Vienna. We saw a building off the palace thart looked easily as good as the palace and this is where the horses were stabled back in the day. That night we went for dinner and were very cultured and listened to music by Mozart. There were opera singers and ballet dancers. Not quite us but was good to do it in Vienna, the home of Mozart.
