We were on the bus until about 1pm before arriving in Ancona, Italy. It's pretty much just a port town, there's nothing of interest there apart from the ferries to beautiful places. We went and checked into our ferry, spent a few hours waiting in the check in area using the wifi before heading down to our ferry to Split, Croatia. We boarded at about 6pm, got our rooms- a cabin with double bed, toilet & shower, luxury compared to hostels! Had dinner in their restaurant and enjoyed a very chilled night preparing ourselves for sun, sea & a big week ahead. The ferry left at 8pm, and pulled into split at 8.30 the next morning. It was a very smooth ride, best way to do it as we saved on a nights accommodation and got transport all in one. Next stop Split!
