Hello Everyone,
Well after Udaipur we made our way to Mount Abu, it was a 2 hour bus journey which was the bumpiest ride ever.Once we arrived it was truly in the middle of nowhere. We were really surprised at how nice our hotel was, each couple had their own little cottage that was really nice and clean J with a balcony, best hotel we have come across yet. They also had an amazing pool area with some sun loungers. It was also a lot hotter here too.
It was mid afternoon when we arrived so we decided to just chill out at the pool and work on our tans, it was so peaceful and relaxing, so nice after mostly being in busy cities the past two weeks.
We all met at the hotel for a buffet tea at night, since there were literally no other restaurants or choices of places to eat the hotel had to do, and it was quite expensive and the food wasn't up to much. There were a lot of power cuts in the evening they only lasted a few minutes but happened quite a lot, the torch came in handy and didn't leave Shay's hand the entire evening. It was pretty scary at night, in the middle of nowhere so quiet and when the power cuts off its darkness.......good experience though.
The following day we had a long lie then sat on the balcony chatting and watching the monkeys in the mountains swinging from tree to tree, was such a relaxing stay at Mount Abu, but nothing major to report really.
It was another 2 hour journey in a jeep to the train station to catch our overnight sleeper to Mumbai, our train arrived on time thank god, didn't really know what to expect but the sleeper seemed fairly good, we sat around playing cards and then seen some mice running around on the floor.....nice.Once we were in our beds, it was cosy to say the least haha, but we both managed to get a couple of hours sleep and 17hrs later we arrived in Mumbai.A fairly uneventful few days, both feeling back to normal and the chilled out few days did us the world of good.Hopefully more to report from Mumbai J
