So we arrived at Beachcomber Island after a 2 hour boat journey through the bottom half of the Yasawas Islands witnessing some incredible views along the way.
From the ferry the little isolated island looked quite nice. We had heard some pretty bad things about Beachcomber so we were just going to make the most of it for the one night…

So, we left home (Aberdeen, Scotland) on the 20th of Jan 2011 to fulfil our dream of travelling the world :)
We spent 9 months travelling through the following countries: India, Sri Lanka, China, Hong Kong, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, Malaysia, Singapore. We then settled in Melbourne, Australia for a year of hard graft, saving up the cash and soaking up the Aussie culture.

On the 1st of September 2012 we plan to set off on travels round two. We are hoping to hit the following places: Fiji, New Zealand, Australia, Indonesia and Myanmar. Maybe fit more in or maybe less, it's a case of when the cash runs out we head to New Zealand for another holiday working visa. Most of the plans are in place, we are just counting down the days until we become backpackers once again.

Jason Barney That German Hippy in the tye-dye is there all the time and tells everyone its a 3 hour trek. It's really only about a 10 min walk to the falls from where you were.
