An early alarm this morning with Cairns Parkrun starting at 7am! A rainy start but the sun soon came out.

We stayed around Cairns for the morning, checking out the shops and local markets. We then started our drive to Port Douglas, stopping at a few sights along the way, including Crystal Cascade; a beautiful cascading waterfall.

After checking into our beautiful hotel, we headed out into Port Douglas to investigate the area. We ended the evening with a lovely meal at Bucci, an Italian restaurant with tasty seafood on the menu!
