A very cold start at Melbourne Parkrun this morning. The run soon warmed us up and the scenery was beautiful around the lake at Albert Park, shared with the black swans. By the time we'd returned the hire car and been back to the hotel for a shower, it was nearly lunchtime. We decided to skip breakfast and head straight to Mrs Parma's for a delicious eggplant palmagiana with a topping of ham, napoli and melted cheese. Well deserved after a good run this morning...

Today we hired a car and made our way to the hot springs in Mornington Peninsula. On our way, we stopped at Dromana Estate and Foxeys Hangout vineyards for me to try some local wines. I particularly enjoyed and purchased the Pinot Gris and Pinot Noir. Next in our stop was Main Ridge Dairy for a yummy cheese tasting platter. Flew to Melbourne this morning and spent the day walking around the city, taking in the sights (and a few ciders). Went to MoVida (an amazing tapas restaurant) for dinner. We shared a range of delicious dishes; including tuna steak served with a pea and white bean salad, pork and quail egg tostadas and a beautifully cooked lamb t-bone with stinging nettle purée.
