Monday was spent travelling after an early start and drive to the airport in Phnom Penh. Our first stop was Changi Airport in Singapore where we had four hours to fill in. After this we got on our plane to Bali and were met by our friends John & Cecily for the trip back to the hotel they had chosen for us.

After settling in and a quick catch-up we walked to the beach for dinner in one of the many beachside restaurants in Legian. We enjoyed the sound of the waves over a few drinks and dinner before wandering back to our hotel and a bit more catching-up.

After breakfast this morning we went for a walk along the beach towards Kuta and then back to our hotel along the streets. The weather is warm and surprisingly humid but not as unbearable as the weather we've had over the last 4 weeks. We had a swim before lunch and enjoyed cool water in the pool and a lay in the sun. Lunch was Indonesian food at an authentic local restaurant followed by a massage for the boys and a shopping expedition for Cec and I. We walked some more of the local streets before relaxing back by the pool and waiting for the boys to return. We're thankful for John & Cec's local knowledge of lots of great restaurants and headed to another lovely spot for dinner. We only ever seem to walk for ten minutes before we get to somewhere great.

Tonight will be an earlier night before we pack our bags again and head to Ubud tomorrow for a few nights.
