Some days you have a perfect day sailing. Today was one of those days. We were up at 5:30 and away by six. The way was guided by the full moon which created a magically bright silver moonbeam. As the sun came up the orange and blue sky was in front of us while the black sky and moon shone behind us. The wind was astern so we hoisted the spinnaker and flew it the whole way for 9 hours. 68 miles in 10 hours.
This evening we are in San Antonio and joined everyone else to watch the sun go down. There are not many days you experience a glorious sun rise and sunset.
Just finished our dinner of prawn and chorizo pasta on board Javelin washed down with a white Rioja.
Definitely time for bed!
