The wind had been forecast to increase to 30 knots overnight and stay high until lunch time. We had originally planned to leave at 8am before we were stuck on the bottom in the marina. I decided to delay our start because leaving on a falling tide with the possibility of running aground in a force 6 did not feel a good risk to take. We duly left at 1:30pm and changed our plans to sail to Mozagon. The sailing was great with a broad reach all the way and average speed of well over 7 knots.
Large jelly fish have replaced the dolphins and are not so much fun. The big hazard are lobster pots. This area has more than anywhere else on the trip. Many like the picture are well marked but some are just a floating plastic bottle!
Mazagon is a newish marina away from a dull town. We found the showers closed when trying to use @ 7 pm and not reopening again until 9 am. Sue had a "discussion" with the cleaner who did not want her showers made dirty over night. Given neither spoke each other's language it must have been interesting.
