Off to another theme park today where we certainly got wet and again enjoyed the rides until closing time. Thanks Nan and Papa.

After finishing off our English Module (last one for the year) work we head off to Harbour Town, Australia's biggest factory outlet centre. Lots of walking and browsing and not too much to carry so we had a good time. Back at the caravan park we swam in the pool and "dressed up" for dinner at the poolside cafe.

A big day of fun at Movie World where I start the day with a nose bleed on the biggest and fastest ride of all! But I quickly recover to spend much of the day enjoying lots of rides and entertainment. Thanks Nan and Papa for the gift vouchers - we certainly made the most of things and were the last to do some of the rides!

We spend a morning of schoolwork then a drive to Surfers Paradise where things are still getting cleaned up after the V8 Supercars a week ago. We find the time clock to the start of the 2018 Commonwealth Games on the Gold Coast and hope we're back here in a couple of years to watch some events.

Back east we head to Toowoomba and nearby Grantham where floods caused havoc in 2011. The Lockyer Vally was pretty and we stopped for a snack in Forest Hill near Gatton. The lure of the surf beckons so Dad found the motorway and we zoomed past Ipswich to a caravan park near the Gold Coast where we book in for a week. Our earlier than expected visit here is to avoid schoolies week which sees an invasion in just a couple of weeks time!
