Today was an early start to catch the barge from River Heads and finally get Fraser to "his" island. A highlight was a visit to Mackenzie Lake with it's clear waters and sandy beaches. We spend much of the day driving in the forest on sandy tracks until Dad got bogged not far from the beach. After about an hour of digging we are finally pulled out by some other 4WDers and then make it to the beach for a quick trip to Eurong. We then travel back across the island to catch the return barge from Kingfisher Resort. Despite many warning signs we failed to spy a dingo on the island.
