Today we visited the Stockmans Hall of Fame and Outback Heritage Centre for most of the day. In the morning Lachie Cossar (a cowboy from Yackandandah) entertained us with his show featuring stockhorses, working dogs and Jigsaw the one tonne bull. His show was funny, informative and gave us a good insight into life as a stockman. A busy morning in the main street of Longreach where we have a snack before visiting the QANTAS Founders Museum. We enjoyed a jet tour of a Boeing 747, Boeing 707 and a restored DC3. The museum had lots of displays including many about the QANTAS co-founder Paul McGuinnus who went to school in Ballarat. Mid afternoon we returned to the caravan park for a swim while Dad watched the AFL Grand Final in the camp kitchen.
