We leave Cooktown and travel inland again. A short diversion off the highway sees us at the Lions Den, a historic hotel at Rossville. We unsuccessfully searched for Jas, Mark, Max and Tess's names on the walls, roof and anything else you could write on. We continued onto Mt Carbine for another feed of pies and then back to the coast for camp south of Port Douglas.
