This is the team after their first day walking. Taking the training very seriously. Just eaten their first pilgrim meal and tried a few of the local wines. But well done as we have done 14 miles on another hot day and managed to find where we were staying. Far less people on the road to Finnisterre and still some lovely countryside but less cows. We have a couple of plants specialists with us now and they can identify all the local windflowers and the birds too. Impressive. I have mentioned that it is a 20 mile walk tomorrow but they seem reluctant to go to bed because it's still light. We have had a really warm welcome in the place we are staying and roger and I have been explaining that it is about the friendliness you encounter.....not the 4 star facilities that really help at the end of the day. So the lovely Antonio is on his way to pick us up now so will have to finish....maybe pic of Antonio would have been appreciated.
