80 Mile Beach to Broome

Sunny, windy, 28 degrees.

Left for the trip to Broome about 10.30 this morning. It was sooo windy! Felt like the bus was going to go backwards!

First stop Sandfire roadhouse about 50 km away. Most of the trip today was quite flat, saw a lot more cattle today. A lot of trees and shrubs too. We later stopped at Goldwire rest stop for some lunch. Was a nice little stop and quite a few vans had already pulled in for the night about 2 pm.

Got into Broome about 4.30. We headed to the caravan park in Cable Beach so have not actually seen Broome at all as yet. Set ourselves up and cooked dinner but will have a good look around tomorrow and work out how long we think we will stay tomorrow. We have booked just two nights here at the moment.
