Hunters On The Move 2013
Kath and I took a drive out to this river crossing (known as Ivanhoe Crossing)
This is also salt water croc country but also a place to get some small live bait for big barra fishing later on. Crossing is not able to be navigated by vehicle anymore - too trecherous.
I met a guy there (named Col) and as usual got chatting and ended up getting an invite for the afternoon barra fishing at a lesser know point on the map called Drain Number 4.
Well the spot turned out to be a ripper, as we managed to get hold of two barra's and a couple of sizable catfish.
Col was really great - came from Tasmania and we ended up taking his car, drank his beers and went home with two nice fillets of barra that he'd previously caught.
What a day - great
